Rape Prevention Education offers a telephone service for people who want information and support after having an unwanted sexual experience. They have free pamphlets on how to support a survivor, sexual abuse, after sexual violence, sexual abuse of males, and many more. They will send these to you, or you can download them off their website. RPE also offers an education programme to schools in greater Auckland. Maybe you could ask your school counsellor to get them into your school. |

SAFE is a provider of treatment programmes for sexual offenders. The programme caters for anyone who admits they have sexually abused a child, and is willing to work on changing their future behaviour. The programme lasts from 1 to 2 years, and involves weekly group therapy as well as individual and family therapy. It can also include outdoor (wilderness programme) therapy.
